No source available for "SysCtlDelay()"

I just installed CCS 6, and now when debugging I get the following message on the M3:

No source available for "SysCtlDelay() at [path to .out file]".

The code still seems to work, but I'm just wondering if this is something I need to worry about. I did not get this error message previously with CCS 5.5

I'm working on the Concerto F28M35H52C1.

Hi Mike,

You can ignore this error. But do check the role of SysCtlDelay()

Thanks for your help!

My understanding is that SysCtlDelay is just used to delay the processor. Is this functionally the same as just calling asm("nop") repeatedly?

I'm guessing the error shows up because the code is inlined away?

Yup, this might be one of the reason. Also,

I've not used this function, so I don't know its behavior.
