spikes in measurement

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

I have a 8 pole electrical induction motor with slip. the motor runs at the full RPM without load very smooth. Im trying to measure the estimated torque with a sample rate of 20kHz, as you can see there are some spikes in the graph. what are does? and how do i prevent this from happening?

They are female deer.  Sorry, had to!  I know english isn't your first language and you're doing a much better job than I would of trying to communicate in another language.

Which version of MotorWare are you using? Which pro_lab##?

are you getting the torque from gMotorVars.Torque_lbin ?

Can you please update your expressions to use the proper number format?  If you use the View --> Scripting Console, you can open the matching proj_lab##.js file at

    motorware_1_01_00_12\sw\solutions\instaspin_foc\src

and it will load the Expressions view with the variables for that lab in the proper format (many are Q24 values or Float, not decimal).
