28035 PWM

Hi, all.

I want to achieve this. These are two signal. One is for force the pwm to a low stage, and the other is for force the pwm to a high stage. Both are cycle by cycle.  Can the F28035 achieve this?

I know some chip have two functions. One is trigger the pwm to low or high. The other is trigger the pwm reset and start next cycle.  Does F28035 have some functions like this?

  • Hi Edwin,

Does F28035 have some functions like this?

Yup, you can use Trip Zones to configure such an event.
     Here's more info:

Also, refer SPRUGE9E for detailed info on Trip Zones for F28035 mcu.

    Regards,

    Gautam

  • Thanks Gautam.

The Trip Zones can achieve may achieve that if the trip zones can override.

eg:     EPWM1A is forced low by TZ1 and forced high by TZ2

TZ1 has forced EPWM1A to low, will EPWM1A go to high when TZ2 is trigered?

  • TZ1 has forced EPWM1A to low, will EPWM1A go to high when TZ2 is trigered?

Edwin, yup its possible. Please read the above ePWM doc thoroughly. It has all the necessary information.

The above case also be achieved by toggling GPIO and External Interrupts combination :)

    Regards,

    Gautam
