Using TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT as a grid connected inverter

Dear all,

We need a three-phase grid connected inverter controlled with one of TI C2000 MCUs, preferably F28335. I found the three-phase motor drive Developer's Kit TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT. Can we use this kit as what we need? How about reading some additional signals (more than what the kit is really designed for) using the ADC ports of this kit. is that possible? for example, can we add an additional current sensor to measure the current of the output filter and apply this signal to one of free ADC ports?

If you are ready to do all that then yes you can use it.. after all it's just an inverter on the board..

So there is unoccupied ADC ports on the board that we can use, right?

you can cut traces on the board and then all the adc's are free if you are not using them..

I'll not recommend this method personally.. but if you really want to use it you could.. i would suggest do a board spin.. we provide the files in the controlSUITE package using a free tool express PCB
