I want that my PMSM is always running at 0 speed and low speed smoothly (never running very fast) and it can be changed its direction(CW/CCW) smoothly anytime. So I think some kind of postion sensor should be used, but I don't know which kind of sensor is the best for my requirement. Does it need two kinds of sensors(Hall and QEP or ...)?
I guess that I use Hall to get commutation sector information and then use QEP to figure rotor positon. Is it right? Whatever, please help me and give me more details.
