finding the transfer function of motors using the identification from labs

Hello. Is there a way of finding the transfer function of motors from the values obtained from the "identification of motors" used in the labs? After running thru the labs, and obtaining values for Rs, Rr, Ls_d, Ls_q, and other parameters, i would like to form the proper equations for the system so I can at least, do some simulations in Matlab and Simulink of the motors I'm working with in the labs. I've been running some of the in InstaSPIN-FOC, and Motion.

I am not sure what you need.

Maybe you can use gMotorVars (main.h) and gUserParams (C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_12\sw\modules\fast\src\32b\userParams.h) ?

Hello Maria,

Using the values from user.h, and userParams.h, i'm trying to form the transfer functions of s , F(s), so i can generate the block diagrams of the complete control system (motor and PID), so i can model that in Matlab/Simulink. I have mathematical models of motors, i'm trying to use the values from the motor identifications in the labs i've been doing.

Hi Michael,

Please visit my motor control simulation website for examples on how to build models for various motor control systems.

These simulations run on a free version of SPICE, so you will need to convert them to Matlab/Simulink. However, they show all of the necessary building blocks you will need to create your own simulations.
