Dear all,

I want to ask whether the SCI-A port of the f28335 board can be directly connected to the PC DB9 port? What I mean is that whether the signal voltage transmit from the PC DB9 port is safe for the MAX3238 RS232 chip which mounted on the board?

If you are referring to control card and docking station then yes, it can be connected directly. I am not sure about the latest version but previous sets needed the special serial cable which comes with the box.

Did you all ever try the example code of "sci_echoback" ? Does the code work?

I haven't used 2812 for a long time but I found all example projects working ... I haven't tried all of them but those I did worked for me ... including "sci_echoback". I encourage you to try them yourself.... if you find any bug report to TI for answers/workarounds.
