Hi,

I am having DRV8301-LS12-KIT kit. I need to evaluate now F28377D Delfino . Is it possible that I can use the same evaluation kit and just buy the delfino control card? or it is better to buy a new full set of evaluation module.

in DRV8301-LS12-KIT , it is having DIM 100 slot for control cards. Is there any control card for delfino with same DIM 100?

Hi Rathinavel,

Nope, F28377D will have to be bought with its docking station as it won't match with other Docking Stations. It would be better if you stick to the default controlCard for the DRV8301 kit. If you'd the following docking station, we could have options for controlCards:

The 180-to-100 pin controlCARD adapter can be used to help do what you wish to do:

To investigate the Delfino F28377D with your motor control baseboard you'd then need:
F28377D controlCARD + adapter card + DRV8301

For software, the F28035 DRV8301EVM project will probably be a good starting point. You'd then need to customize it to work with the F28377D. The biggest task here will be changing out the boilerplate system initialization code and working with the improved ADC.
