Series comunication on Piccolo F28027 - Just GPIO28 to transmit? There's other pins?

There's no way to enable other pin has transmit more data?

There are two channels ie SCIA and SCIB; you can use these two for communication.

if i have a three phase system, and i wish to transmit data this system per phase in pins separate. How to do this?

I have to use three piccolo?

Where are you planning to send these 3 data?

I want to sample three current of three line on a three phase system, treat the data on piccolo and send for a relay or computer.

Then third communication line seems gloomy. With computer you can use both SCIs but for 3rd line...! Why not send all the 3 data parameters through single SCI line. You can later filter out the data in computer.

For F28027, there is only one SCI (SCIA). If you need more SCIs, you can not use F28027 and also the MCU is usually much more expensive.

If you want to send 3 data, I suggest you the same like Gautam said. Send them through single line and you can parse it later. In my case, I use Modbus protocol (SCI based) that I can monitor many variables on PC through single line SCI.

Yes, Maria I did notice that. Working with multiple C2000 devices tends to confuse you frequently :)

I don't know why F28027 SCI documentation mentions about SCIB even though there's a note immediately saying:

But why mention the same!

Hello Patrick,

You can start by putting all data in a buffer sequentially and send the data from this buffer sequentially through SCIA to your PC.

For example:

SciTxData[0] = phase_1_current;

SciTxData[1] = phase_2_current;

SciTxData[2] = phase_3_current;

And then in PC you can see these sequences and parse them.
