Hallo there!
Recently i am working on a Project and it is about BLDC/DC Motor controll.
First i would like to discribe a liittle bit about our Project:
We want to build a remote controll car and we have two motors for driving, that means we want to use two motors (DC or BLDC, each motor is 24-48V and 20-30A )for each back wheel.
And we also want to remote controll them.
My question is:
As far as i know that in TI we have the following Block Diagram for BLDC and DC Motors.
And obviously we use High Voltage Motor, that means we will use the following circuit:
Microcontroller--> Isolation-->Gate Drivers-->Mosfet, our project doesn't need feed back, so feed back circuit is not necessary!
Q1: Is there any Microcontroler, which have remote controll capacity ? or is there any interface on the Microcontroler for remote controll module?
Q2: How can i choose the right Isolators? there are so many of them and my requirement is very simple, it works!
Q3: Can your Gate Driver and Mosfet communicate with other Microcontroler from other Company? I mean, if there is no Microcontroler that have remote ability from your company, i need to find other Microcontroler from other Company and i still want to use your Driver and Mosfet. So i don't know, if they can work with each other.
Q4: U already know about our project and as expert, can u tell me or help me to choose the right Isolators, Gate Drivers and Mosfet?
I mean, if u let me choose, i will choose for exmple:
Isolator: maybe anyone of them
Gate driver: Pre-Driver DRV8301, 8302, 8303 and Mosfet driver: maybe UCC27200(so many of them, i don't konw which one is better)
Mosfet: CSD18502Q5B
Is this combination ok? or u have better combination?
I am looking forward to your answer! ant Thank u very much!
Hi,
Q1: Is there any Microcontroler, which have remote controll capacity ? or is there any interface on the Microcontroler for remote controll module?
No, C2000 mcus are not equipped with wireless protocols. You'll have to use an external one like TI's CC series.
For other questions I don't want to intervene. A power electronics specialist might help you.
