I think you misunderstood between compiler and CCS IDE version. They are different.

You can see the compiler version by:

Right click on your active project --> Properties and then you can see it like below:

If it is indeed below 6.2.3 version, then you should get the latest one, from here

Under C2000 Code Generation Tools Downloads table.

And install it to your PC.

To add it, go to CCS, click on Windows --> Preferences and under CCS -> Build -> Compilers click Add button and add the new compiler path that you just install.

Thank you all. Yes, my compiler was too old.

An upgrade to CCS 6 solved the issue.

Now labs 2a and 2b produce correct waveforms and give the correct calibration results.
