Looking for best way to establish USB connection from F28069 to Windows 7 for data read/write.

Communication speed is not critical (can be slow), flexible on word size and format.

    You can directly use the device with F28069U part number. No need of any external chip.

    If you already have a F28069 chip with 'U' in its part number; then you can use the usb to serial converter chip such as from FTDI series.

    Looks like those are for Stellaris. May be better just to go with MACPHy and Ethernet.

    I asked for USB support for TMS320F28069.

    ICs for Stellaris were suggested, for some reason. 

    But Stellaris isn't Piccolo.

    Piccolo tech manual gives only a terse USB peripheral hardware description.

    Looking for host-client usb embedded bridge solution: Windows 7 - Piccolo.

    Need package with Windows drivers, hardware interface details, and support chips.

    Looking for a Windows 7- Piccolo USB bridge solution -- this requires Windows USB drivers.

    FTDI serial to USB chips support all controller families not specific to Stellaris. Where did you get this info?

    These chips have windows drivers readily available on their manufacturers website.
