How to save .csv file with CCSv4?

Hai,

I am working with CCSv4. I have plotted a graph using sine wave input to an external ADC connected to EzDSP-F28335.

When I tried to save the graph data by "DATA" - "Export all", the .csv file is not saved anywhere.

Anybody can help me with this issue please.

It mentions CCS v4 does not support this feature.

Also, if you check this thread, it mentions that this issue was resolved in CCS v5:

Thanks Gautam for your response,

I have seen those posts but I have already searched for the software updates and code generation tools version 6 are found and installed. But now I got that CCSv5 need to be installed and updating doesn't work.

Lakshmi, I would rather suggest you to download and install CCS v6. Importing the CCS v4 projects should not be an issue. Do try and let me know. Updating to CCS v5 from v4 through "Check for updates" option is not possible.

Hi Gautam,

I have tried CCSv6 download but the evaluation board that I am using is Spectrum digital EzDSP F28335, it is not getting connected and I am unable to Debug. I have selected the proper Target configuration only as the same configuration works with the CCSv4 and CCSv5.

I wonder does CCS v6 works with Windows XP?

Yes, it does support XP.

Spectrum digital EzDSP F28335, it is not getting connected and I am unable to Debug

I hope while installing CCS v6, you selected Complete installation instead of custom, right?

Hi Gautam,

I have selected Custom only and installed Micro-controller edition.

I am working with CCSv4 only. No other option I feel.
