About the Vddosc and Vssosc of 28377D

Hi everyone, I have a problem about  Vddosc and Vssosc of 28377D.

The datasheet says so about Vssosc ,

When using an external crystal, do not connect this pin to the board ground. Instead, connect it to  the ground reference of the external crystal oscillator circuit. – If an external crystal is not used, this pin may be connected to
the board ground.

and in chapter 5.8.3 Input Clocks and PLLs, the schemetics shows that when using a 3.3V-powered oscillator, the Vssosc is unconnected.

So my question is, what should be done to Vddosc pin? The 2 pins seems to be the power supply of  crystal oscilator. Since I have selected a 3.3V-powered oscillator, maybe I could leave Vddosc unconnected too?
