interfacing webcam of a PC with piccolo F28069 USB stick

How're you going/planning to interface your laptop cam to the board? Also, are you talking about the inbuilt laptop cam or an external USB laptop cam?

I intend to use the inbuilt laptop cam. I was thinking of using a bit of MATLAB, in order to use the webcam, my prime objective is to make a motor run, using an input that the webcam takes. And i'm sorry for misquoting you.

Ok, now I exactly get what you're trying to achieve! This can be very well achieved :)

So this data from Matlab you'll be feeding to the kit right? If so, it would be best if you use UART communication and send the cam data in a form of strings to the kit. The kit then further will segregate the incoming data and take appropriate actions in controlling the motor.
