Insta-Spin Universal GUI - System Enable does not 'Stay checked'

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

I have spent time studying and setting up the demo for the 28027F and BoostXL development kit. I was attempting to use the universal GUI to spin a hobby brushless motor for a demonstration.  I was succesful on the first attempt. I used CCSv5, and the MotorWare guide. I followed the InstaSpin Projects and Labs User Guide to work through lab2c. I loaded the lab2c.out file into the gui folder (and renamed to appProgram.out).  I started the gui,  checked the 'System Enable' box, then the 'RUN' box, and shortly afterwords, the motor began to spin for a short period.

However, after setting the kit down for a few days. I re-attempted this demo again with No-Results. Now- after loading a proj.out file (same demo project 2b)  into the gui folder. I attempt to load the gui, Then check 'System Enable',  however the check within the checkbox dissapears after a second or two. And no response from motor.

I did make minor changes to the user.h file. I commented out the Anaheim motor #define that was defaulted, and tried using parameters that matched the brushless motor I am using. I 'uncommented'  #define my_motor.  Then recompiled. And used this resulting .out file for the gui.

I have attempted re-installing the software, with the same results. No matter what combo of hardware and software, I cannot recreate this demo. The 'system enable' checkbox in the Universal Gui App always resets a second or so after being checked.

I cannot find any information related to this problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
