Thanks for your reply. I went through the manual as you suggested. I had a query though. I am trying to get two controllers to talk to each other.

So do I flash the same code on both controllers and then connect the respective CAN ports to each other. Will that set up communication between the two chips? Or am I missing something here. I intend to use a MICROCHIP CAN BUS Analyzer to monitor the transmission. Any comments?

Also this was in one of the folders under controlSUITE

This example is meant for F28335 controller. While migrating this you've to be careful whether such register configuration is available in F28069 or not.

Nikhil,

you cannot Flash the same identical code into two nodes. This way both nodes would transmit with the same identifiers, causing a CAN Violation. Similar, both nodes would wait for receiving for the same identifier.

Try to Setup node 1 to transmit identifier A and receive identifier B,  for node 2 vice versa (transmit B and receive A).
