which launchpad to buy 28027 or 28027F??

I want to start experimenting with TMS320F28027.but i am unable to figure out which launchpad to buy 28027 or 28027F. as per my knowledge the only difference is 28027F is factory programmed for motor control application ie InstaSPIN.

Presently i'm working with power supply design so which one to choose.

what are the pros and cons if i buy 28027F??can i use the same for power supply design??

F28027F controller is specially meant for FOC motor control applications.

If your application has nothing to do with motor control then you can simply go for normal C2000 launchpad.

is it possible to load the InstaSPIN_FOC program on to a more general 28027.And i want to know what will be the size of that program and its memory location in 28027F..Is it possible to erase that memory.

Nope, F28027F has an inbuilt ROM with motor libraries stored. These cannot be erased or modified.
