Concerto M3 code

Hi all,

Recently i have started to learn about concerto devices.I have a small doubt regarding " the procedure u have followed to program M3 Core" . In C28 Core,You have chosen to address all locations through Structures or Unions.

In M3, You have chosen to address each location through a Macro.Is it possible for us to code M3 in the same way as C28 Core? If Yes,I didn't find any such examples in control suite, Can u provide me the Link? If no, Please provide the reason?

we kept the M3 code similar to the ARM code development style followed universally. Also Concerto was built to be compatible with LM3S9B96 and some of the examples/applications/libraries built for LM3S9B96 could be used with minimum modifications on Concerto M3.

On C28x side we sticked to the legacy bit fields style because of legacy compatibility and customer collateral that uses this style.

hi santosh,

As you have said that it is according to ARM code development style , can i move to bit field way of coding for M3 core also. A part from that i would also like to know the advantage of existing ARM code development style, suggest me some link to know the advantages.
