PM_Sensor less project using F28069

Hi Chris,

I am working on C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v128\PM_Sensorless project using drv8312-69m-kit. I think “PM_Sensorless” project can be implemented on drv8312-69m-kit which is based F28069 controller .

Want to do incremental build as explained in “Sensorless FOC of PMSM” reference document located at C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v128\PM_Sensorless\~Docs

Imported the project in to CCS5
I could build and run the project .

Here are my questions

Using Real time mode, I can see “BackTicker” variable continuously refreshing . But as explained in the “Sensorless FOC of PMSM” reference document, don’t find “IsrTicker” Variable is not increasing , what could be the reason this variable is not changing?
Is my project running as it supposed and all the settings on the board as needed ?
I am also not able to create the Graphs of Ta,Tb and Tc ??
What other changes are needed to implement “PM_Sensorless” project on F28069 controller ?

I also want to cross check , upon right click selected configuration as F28069x_RAM[Active] , is this correct selection ?

Hi TI team,

I have posted some clarification on PM sensorless project over 15 days before .

I am not sure what is the problem with whole TI team .

If nobody knows about it just say "NO" such that I dont wait.

Hi RK,
Probably you have done right selection, but as per my experience, only 28035 is the best family to work in Motor Control project.

So many library gaps in other MCUs, so my advise is you should try with 28035 stick.

the PM Sensorless project is dual built to support the F2806x series. simply right click on the project and change the Build Configuration.
however, you may need to procure the TMDSCNCD28069ISO controlCARD. The 69M version you have is for InstaSPIN-FOC/-MOTION and doesn't have the IQmath library in the same ROM location so the project in CCS won't be calling the correct functions on a 69M device.
