Error connecting Emulator

Hi,

I have been working with TMS30f28035 controller. But suddenly the power was gone and CPU was in real time mode. After clearing the fault, the Code composer studio was loaded with program and was debugged. But an error message saying that

"C28xx: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1041 @ 0xFFFFFF66) The emulator reported an error. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 5.0.569.0) "

Emulator used is XDS100v2 USB emulator

Is this a permanent failure. I don't know how to do things mentioned in the error.

Are you able to observe the error everytime you debug? Also did you try restarting CCS and also PC once?

Doing what you said two three times involving the removal of control card from the slot and replacing seemed to solve the problem.
