F28069 and Ethernet

I want to use ethernet communication with F28069 control card.But it has no interface for ethernet.Can the same be linked through SPI.

I have seen some ARM concerto controllers (F28M36H53C) .But they are costly compared to F28069.I need some four ethernet outputs so using concerto would add on to the cost while F28069 is in budget.

Can anyone advise how to go on with it.

This seems to be good.I will go through the product and try finding others also.Is F28069 compatible with F28M3x controllers..I mean wrt programs,CAN interfacing and data sharing?

Do you mean.. are the codes compatible? Yes, should be being from the same family.

F28069 is a single-core device with one 28x CPU. F28M3x is a dual-core device, with one 28x CPU and one ARM M3 CPU. The 28x core + associated peripherals part alone is identical between these two devices. As could be expected, the M3 core and its associated peripherals are fundamentally different compared to 28x. The CAN module in these two devices are different. The M3 CAN follows a different programming model for the registers. It is hard to explain how these devices differ in a forum post. Please compare the respective datasheets for feature differences.
