I am doing project of CAN communication, but I am new with TMS320F28335. I want to analyze the CAN communication through PC.

I would like to ask anyone who may have experience with eCAN in TMS320F28335.

Which is the best CAN analyzer in the market? What specs that people usually looking for a good CAN analyzer?

How about this device? Do you think it may work?

it supports ISO 11898-2, and I know TM320F28335 also supports 11898-2. What are pros and cons of ISO 11898-2?

Why not, this should work! You'll be requiring CAN transceiver interfaced with F28335 and then this analyzer.

Hi,

Actually I work on the eZF28335 board which has built-in transceiver. And the microchip CAN bus analyzer has also its own tranceiver.

But still the data read are all wrong, it just show some random data. What do you think is the problem.

the eZF28335 transceiver: SN65HVD233 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/slls933f/slls933f.pdf)

the Microchip can analyzer's transceiver: MCP2551 http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/21667f.pdf
