5v0 power supply for F28069 controlSTICK

I'm using f28069 controlSTICK, it works fine with power suppy via USB port. It can also work with 3v3 at external pin 4 and GND (external pin 32). Unfortunately, I only have power source at 5v0, if using 3v3 I must have a converter from 5v0 to 3v3.

I see that external pin 16 is 5v0, but with a comment : 'disabled by default'. Could I use this pin for my project ?

Hi Tam,

If you check the schematics of the controlstick, you can connect 5V here:

ie pin number 6 of TPS73233.

Oh, I've seen it :) They've omitted a resistor named R15 so that this pin 8 is disabled by default.

To connect external pin 8 to 5v0 source, should I shorten this resistor, Gautam ? Or which value of resistor should I use on this place (R15) ?

Instead of connecting to the pin, why not solder cables to USB connector edges itself?
