Issues Downloading "Blinking LED" CCSv4 Example Code onto EZDSPF28335

Hi,

I am using the eZdsp F28335 withc Code Composer Studio v4 for my senior design project at the University of Connecticut. To get started, I want to just download a simple example code onto the board, meant to blink the LED at GPIO32. After lots of frustration, finally got the code to build, but cannot program it onto my evaluation board.

What I need to know is, what kind of connection is needed to be selected from the dropdown list provided. Currently chosen was "Blackhawk USB2000 Controller" and for the device was "EZDSPF28335". The application has an error connecting to the target. It is suspected to be an error with either the configuration or possible the dip switches on the evaluation board itself.

When I switched the connection type to an EVM, I then got an error initializing the emulator...

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any responses would be greatly appreciated, or you can email me at eric.snapper@uconn.edu .

Thanks!
