TMX320F28377DPTPT & TMX320F28377SPZPT PACKAGE QUESTION

e2e,

Our customer has a question regarding acceleration rating of the following two devices:

TMX320F28377SPZPT in the HTQFP (PZP) 100 package

TMX320F28377DPTPT in the HLQFP (PTP) 176 package

Does TI publish the maximum acceleration (g) that the packages can withstand?

Thanks for your help?

Regards,

John Wiemeyer

  • John,

TI only does acceleration testing on ceramic based devices, per Q100 standards.  Ceramic devices are typically sourced from the Hi REL team, taking an existing catalog product and hardening it for those types of applications

With the F2837xD being new to the catalog space I doubt we have this available as a HiREL option yet.  I can check with our planning team to see if it is on the radar near term though.

    Best,

    Matthew

  • Thanks for your reply Matthew.  Please do check with the planning team and let me know if either the TMX320F28377S or  TMX320F28377D are plannned to be available in a ceramic package.

    Thanks for your help.
