The Word Access Mode (WORD) bit, bit 31 of the EPIHB8CGF2 register, is documented in the F28M36 manual version spruhe8a section 19.8.7 EPI Host-Bus 8 Configuration 2 (EPIHB8CFG2) Register.
However, in the latest version spruhe8b in section 19.9.8 EPI Host-Bus 8 Configuration 2 (EPIHB8CFG2) Register, bit 31 is Reserved.
In other sections of the manual the WORD bit is still referred to, and to my knowledge this bit has not been dropped.
Can you confirm this as documentation bug?
The same might be the case for the EPIHB16CFG2 register.
