Hi There. I have been working on f28027 launchpad for a period of time and I recently bought an F28335 experimenter's kit. I copied some projects from the controlsuite on the workspace and after I copied the 'development kits' and 'device support' files on the right path I had no errors on building the project with CCS V6. The problem is that the CCS canot create the '.ccxml' file of the target configuration (I choose 'xds100 v1' and 'Eperimenter's Kit - Delfino F28335'). After that I 'right clicked' on the project explorer choose properties and made the same configuration on the 'General' tab. After that I build it and got 41 errors with the first as follows:

"Description Resource Path Location Type
ADC_CAL memory range F28335_FLASH_FlashingLeds.CMD /FlashingLeds-F28335 line 95 C/C++ Problem"

I had a similar problem in the past with the f28027 and after I copied the right '.cmd' file in the project it run fine.

I suppose that the problem has to do with the linker or the reason that doesn't create the .ccxml file.

Please let me know if any ideas or send me a complete project with all the configuartions (or instructions) needed for the project.

Do you have any idea of what is happening, please take in mind that I have CCS V6?

This is the sequence of the errors on the screen. Do you have any idea of the settings required?

I got the same error of

Would you mind share what "build configuration setup" means?

Hi Hsiao,

If you still have the problem make the following adjustments:

1) Right click on the project loaded on the left-> properties -> manage configurations -> and make the debug "active".
Below you must adjust the fields "variant" and "connection" according to your board emulator, on the "Linker" field you choose from browse "28335_RAM_lnk.cmd" and at the end the "Runtime" field make it "automatic". Then press "OK" and debug the project again. If all the fields are configured according to your development board kit, you must not have errors.

2) If the problem remains you must write at the appropriate directory (mine is C:/USERS) the 2 folders which are contained in the controllsuite 1) development_kits, 2) device_support. You can see which the directory is from the code composer errors path.
