F2837xD operating in low power mode

Is this a TI board or a custom board?  This can often be caused by a missing clock or absent or improper powering of the device.

Which emulator are you using?

Which version of CCS is installed?  Have you checked for updates?

Hi Kris ,

This is the TI board. I am not able to connect to the CPU1 ., but can connect to CPU2 . 

I tried the inbuilt xds100v2 emulator and blackhawk Jtag emulator and both return back the below error when I try connecting CPU1.

C28xx_CPU1: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1156 @ 0x0) Device may be operating in low-power mode. Do you want to bring it out of this mode? (Emulation package 5.1.450.0) 

I have just installed CCSv6 with all updates and retried. It returns the same error.

I am powering the device through USB. 

I am also trying to program CPU2 with dcsm . Would this cause any issue as well ?

I've seen the same issue. The board is first working fine. Until i download a ControlSuite program. Then the CPU get to the error state.
It don't make sense why flash MCU could introduce such error.

I have the same problem with the TI eval board (contril ICARD).
Do you have an idea how to fix the issue ?

Can someone explain the problem a bit more?

Is this issue happening after programming the security settings are even with-out that?

Is the BOOTMODE pin setting in this case is 1/1 (Get Mode) ? Did you try some other BOOTMODE setting?
