Can I recognize USB port through the device?

Hi

I stuck on read device id( TMDSPLCKIT) problem for a while.

Still can not find a way to solve it.

But It occurred to me that can I read USB port for instead?

While I connect the device to the computer, you can see the USB port number at device manager.

And I had try other same device, it shown different USB port number.

So I want to know is it possible to read USB port for instead?
