C28x flash pipeline: why they left disabled

Hi

Regard F280x and C28x

I have been benchmarking the FFT (in FLASH & RAM) and found two time faster when flash pipeline is enabled)

I'm curious, why it left disabled by default?, is there issue we should be aware of when turning on the flash pipeline?

    Richard,

    There is nothing at all to be concerned about.  Always enable the flash pipeline.  I suspect it was left off by default for test reasons at TI.  Typically, things are left off until SW deliberately enables them.
