flash_f28035 example

Hello all,

I am trying to run the flash_f28035 example on TMSDOCK28035 experimenters kit. If it is successful, I should see GPIO34 toggle right?

This is what I did, please tell me what I am missing.

I added FLASH symbol in properties of the project. After I built the project, I debug, and I can see two pop up windows, saying erasing flash sectors and loading program. I then disconnect JTAG USB cable, reset the power on the experimenter's kit and nothing happens. I dont see GPIO34 toggle.

pretty new to FLASH, although i have been running my custom board with success on RAM. Please help!

Just one question, are the pwms working fine after reset?

appreciate a lot for helping out.

I am not sure if they were working ok, I did not see gpio 34 toggling

i even commented the whole pwm interrupts and Just made pin 31 toggle, it toggles in ram debug mode but when I switch to flash.cmd build, it does not!

Hello Gautam,

Lab 10 definitely helped me understand how running from Flash works. But firslty, I tried importing Lab 10 project and follow the instructions but gave me a bunch of errors. I included the header files, IQmath.lib files etc.

So later, I tried repeating those steps with my simple GPIO 31 toggle but no success so far.

I hope your boot mode selection is correct ie set to GetMode

Thank you Manoj, my code is running on Flash now without any problems.

Apart from setting the boot from flash properly and including a correct .cmd file, i found out something interesting.

This section has to be copied from flash to RAM prior to calling InitSysCtrl() but also InitAdc().
