Hi all,
We are using TMS320F28335 developing our application with other partner. We need to merge our program with our partner, which it will saved in different flash sectors. Both of us want to protect ours code. But it seems like the CSM password is common for all flash sector. Is that possible to protect different flash sector with different CSM password? Or is any other suggestion that allows us to protect our own code with each other?

Yes, it is common for all the sectors.

Nope. Securing every sector with different password is not possible. Hence datasheet and user guides never say that flash sector is secured but instead convey the device (as a whole) is secured by using CSM.

Hi JD,
As Gautam mentioned, since there is only one password, user can not protect different sectors. Once password programmed, all the flash sectors get protected.
We have new Delfino device (TMS320F28377S) where this issue has been addressed. In this device we have Dual Zone passwards and user of each Zone can choose which flash sectors he/she wants to secure for their zone.
