Dear Friends,

We'r working on PMSM Motor Drive Project (with C2000, Piccolo Series TMS320F28032).

We've successfully design the drive. Now It's time for production.

As a part of production set-up, we wish to set-up the Production Unit in India & other country too, for that, following things we wish to complete.

The Production team can program the drives with using Serial Flash Programming Utility (We wish to develop that utility), in this entire structure, we don't want to give .hex file directly to the Production Team.

Now, we want to develop such Serial Flash Programming Utility, like c2prog.

In this entire scenario, any how our .hex file (code) can't by leaked.

Suggest us the best path for this.

I would like to know more about this :)

Generally for any flash utility you need to feed in the executable file by browsing. Hiding the same behind the user program would be a great thing to implement but I'm unsure how feasible this is!

Did you already checked the possibilities of C2Prog? I did not use it for encrypted hex files but on their homepage (codeskin) they talk about encrypted hex files and encrypted communication. And DLL usage of C2prog. Just an idea.

I'm not sure if this is free.

I guess, what chinmay wants here is to deploy an application which has an hex file in-built and not visible to production employees. With C2prog you need an external hex whether encrypted or not doesn't matter.

We've already checked with C2prog, but the dll and other things with C2prog is not free.

Dear Gautam,

we wish to feed .hex file by server and the .hex file must be hidden for the production team (for this, we need to develop application).

We want to make a serial programmer utility tool for such things.
