F28075 oscillator

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

The internal 10Mhz oscillator is not stable enough, or accurate it appears, to run CAN. Unfortunately, the “out-of-the-box” ControlSuite code appears to use the internal oscillator to generate SYSCLK. We don’t have a schematic on the control card and don’t see one in ControlSuite to verify the frequency of the external crystal. We’re going on the assumption that it is 20Mhz because of the labeling and because the 069 control card used a 20Mhz crystal. However, it would be nice to verify this assumption. Can you provide this information for us?

    It is 20MHz...

I hope you've updated your controlSuite. The controlCard schematic is very well available here:

I'm also attaching the same: 2086.F2807x_120controlCARD_R1_1_SCH_05Aug2014.pdf
