How to Flash a Binary Program to the Piccolo Microcontroller

What is the recommended way to flash a compiled binary program to a piccolo microcontroller? Are there tools within Code Composer to achieve this (without source code)? Or should I use a tool such as TI's UniFlash?

Chris,
it depends on your set-up and where you are trying to do this (what part of the development/design).
Yes, if you have CCS you can connect to the target and simply load the program.
UNIFLASH does the same thing but w/o a full CCS install.

There are also programs like SDFLASH and program solutions from Codeskin and Elprotronics. Also, distributors have large programmers and can pre-program devices before delivering to you. Many CMs can program the device on the PCB before delivering final boards/products.
