Can anyone tell me how to convert a .c source file into its equivalent .asm file in CCS version 6.0.1 for TMS320F28027?

How about using a comiler?

Project properties -> Build -> C2000 compiler -> Advanced options -> assembler options -> Keep the generated assemble language (.asm) file

Thanks a lot for your support. I have one more question, does the CCS V6.0.1 provide an option to calculate the machine cycle count for a block of asm code? If not is there a way other than counting each command's machine cycle count?
