problem with the ICs f28m36 & f28377d on the controlcards

Dear All,

I have purchaced tow controlcard: f28m36 & f28377d

The cores, ie tms320f28377d and the tms320f28m36p63c2, which are on the board, are not same as the original one's form TI.

Can you know anything about this?

I upload the photos, I have taked.

Hi Ras,

Before concluding with your above statements...
First of all these devices have different releases and hence there might be few variations (other than the actual part number). Btw from where/whom did you purchase these boards?

I have bought the board indirectly by someone, so I don't know about them.
please answer my two questions in the bellow, if possible:
- does the print on the ICs abnormal?
- generally, is it possible to make copy of these ICs?

They're fine. Just checked with devices I've. Also, XF28377D device is still in experimental stage and hence fine.

- generally, is it possible to make copy of these ICs?

Frankly speaking, the Chinese guys look for the markets that deal in million parts for introducing duplicates. C2000 family is a less familiar family and hence investing on equipments to make duplicates doesn't make any sense :)
Also, I've never heard about any such issues. We too should take care by purchasing TI products only from authorized distributors to avoid such inconvenience.

These parts seem fine. Note that you can see what the device markings should look like in the errata document. I have marked this up for the F28377D device below.
