Hi guys,
I am trying to install CCSv 3.3 and I am not able to do it. I would like to install it to use F28335 MCU and XDS100_v1 connection.
Error:
"Error 1920. Service 'drpkiont' (drpkiont) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
and If I press Ignore Button, another dialog box appears on the screen when it try to start XDSFast1_ISA_Bus_Driver service.
"Error 1920. Service 'XDSFast1_ISA_Bus_Driver' (xdsfast1) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
mind you, I'm installing this software with the Administrator Privileges.
Any tips, or guideline please,
Regards
Manuel
Hi Manuel,
Unless you have a good reason, I would highly recommend upgrading to a more recent version of Code Composer.
That being said, you can probably make things work. See the below link for more details:

Thank you,

Hi Manuel,
I would highly recommend you to use CCS v6. Its a very powerful tool and also as you've XDS100 emulator you're eligible for "Free License"!
Also, you can refer: How to Install Code Composer Studio v3.3 on Windows 7/ 64bits - Code Composer Studio forum - Code Composer...

Hello,
I had troubles with 64 bits windows. I switched to CCS6 and everything is working fine, plus there are no need to deal with GEL files and so on.
XDS100 is freely supported by CCS6, so you won't need a license (but there are some code size restriction iirc)
