TMDSCNCD28035ISO Controller operation in Standalone mode

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD28035ISO, CONTROLSUITE

Hi

I am Vikram. I just wanted to figure out that I want to control an inverter with this controller numbered  TMDSCNCD28035ISO. I want to know that once I load my codes in the flash of the card, can it run in standalone mode i.e. to say that after I have my codes I remove the connection from computer and switch on the system. Will in this case the inverter run with my control algorithm within the flash of the card.

Thanking you.

  • Hi Vikram,

Assuming that you write your code to utilize the FLASH of the 'F28035, yes.

Once you download and install controlSUITE (C2000's unified software release platform), please refer to the following document:
    \controlSUITE\development_kits\~controlCARDs\CC2803xISOHWdevPkg\F28035_ISOcontrolCAR-InfoSheet.pdf

That document explains how you need to configure switches SW2 and SW3 depending on whether you're using an emulator or booting from FLASH.

    Hopefully this helps!

    Thank you,
    Brett

  • Thank you very much for your reply. I actually want to use this card for a separate application (to run a multilevel inverter). So this will work in that case.

    Thanking you.
