ADC Errors and Calibration, Offset, Gain etc.

Hi,

I have run a quick check on the ADC to see what sort of error is incorporated on it and I have discovered that the maximum value that I can measure is 2.8v (i.e. the reading in ADCRESULT is 4095 at 2.8v)

I have read the application note spraad8a and it helps in calculating the actual applied voltage; however it does not really explain how I can get usage from the full range of the ADC, 0v to 3.3v.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this, or in fact application notes that explain how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached a spreadsheet of my readings, and the plot is included in chart 2.
