Counting clock ticks/ Frequency of a pulse

Hi,

Which GPIO's should I use in order to count the ticks of frequency output pulse?

Hi Irfan,

Are you feeding a frequency pulse from an external device to C2000 device? If so then you can use the eCAP module to do so.

Many thanks for prompt reply. Yes, we are feeding the pulse from our frequency output sensor.

Hi Muhammad,

as we have discussed in the past, according to our spreadsheet that we have been using, we have allocated GPIO24 for the ECAP and GPIO20 for the EQEP depending on how you want to count the pulses to get the frequency.
