I am able to implement the locking ,but i am facing issue while unlocking the same.
I am trying to program my custom board using C2000 as a programmer & this is the first time we are trying to implement locking in my custom board. i am using CCSv5.5 .

C2000 as a programmer as in you're using the XDS100v2 of C2000 launchpad for debugging purpose?
If so, did you validate the functioning?

I am able to implement the locking ,but i am facing issue while unlocking the same.

How are you locking ? using CSM right? What passwords did you feed in ?

Did you try connecting to device using "wait boot" option available in F28027 device?

Please find below steps i am using for locking & Unlocking the same.

please find attached the procedure to lock/unlock C2000 controller using CSM password in CCS. I am using an example where I change the MSW of the password from FFFF to FFFE

 

Lock:

1.      Add and link the file CSMPasswords.asm in your project . It can be found in the below folder :
       C:\TI\controlSUITE\device_support\f2802x\v128\DSP2802x_common\source\DSP2802x_CSMPasswords.asm

2.      Open DSP2803x_CSMPasswords.asm and find, "csmpasswds"
    Change the password here. For example,
        .int 0xFFFF  ;PWL7
    Change to
        .int 0xFFFE  ;PWL7

3.      Save the file and debug the example on hardware

 

Now any debug attempts following this should fail.

 

Unlock :

1.      View > Target Configurations > Navigate to the configuration inside your active project > Launch Selected Configuration (right click)  

2.      Run > Connect Target (C28xx) > Resume > Suspend   

3.      Tools > Memory Map > On-Chip Flash > Code Security Password > Key 7 > Change from FFFF to FFFE > Unlock (button ) 

4.      Tools > Memory Map > On-Chip Flash > Erase Sector Selection > Sector A > Erase flash (button)  

5.       Terminate debug   

 

Now any following debug attempts should start working.

After step 2 Connect Target (C28xx)  to unlock it shows error connecting 1135
