How to flash the C2000 chip

Hi all,

I cant seem to find the correct method do achieve this. I have TM320F28377D chip on a eval board. im using a jtag connection and its a XDS200. I can load my program in a debug mode no problem. So when i turn off the eval board and turn it on the program is no longer there. I want to stay after i program it. I have no clue how to remove it from debug mode and change it to being stored on the flash.

Im using code composer studio 6.0.1

It sounds like your project is configured to run from RAM. Check out App Note SPRA958L, which explains how to reconfigure a CCS project to run your application from FLASH.

This is a great link but I don't know how to change the file from ram to flash. I could just re name it but that seems wrong.

Ok ever one of these example say change the .cmd linker. Do I just rename the ram one I have or is t y eye a way to make a new one.
when I created this program I took the example program from work shop and used it the template. So I have a ram linker and I have no idea how to change it.

Ok after changing the flash I get an error 0x3fefc6 no source available

And which cmd that you put in the properties?
