With the Texas Instruments reliabilty estimator you can calculate the failure rate of the TMS320F2810. eg. ,26FIT for 55°C, 60% confidence.
Question 1: failure modes and ratio unknown. However they are necessary to calculate dangerous failures in embedded systems. Is there some information about these failuremodes and their ratio?
Question 2: the processor also has memory on board. Is the failure rate of this memory included in the results of the TI reliability estimator? If yes, the FIT rate seems very low compared to generic data and known data of other brands. If no, what is the FIT for the different memory's on board?
