Section copy in M3 for concerto

Dear all,

I am new to concerto series, so with ARM core. CAn anyone suggest section_copy file as in C28 series for copying sections from Flash to ram.

Naveen,

I guess you are referring to memcpy function.

You can find memcpy usage in example project in Controlsuite at C:\TI\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v206\F28M35x_examples_Dual\flash_exe\m3\flash_exe_m3.c.

Usage is similar to that of C28x.

But what i need is to copy sections of code from flash to RAM even before main() is called.

Naveen,

what are the reasons for you to try to memcpy() anything before main(), why cannot you do it immediately after main(), as the first thing in main()?

The controlSuite examples should have a RAMFUNCS section copy from flash to RAM, you can refer to that as example and if you have to do some copy of contents from flash to RAM you can put your own function and call this function from code_start (or entry point) before branching to _c_int00.
