I'm looking for some suggestions for a good layout for the bypass capacitors for the F28235 device. The bypass capacitors are 0603 size and can not be placed underneath the micro as test and Xray is needed. Currently the closest the capacitors can be is about 2 inches away from the power pins.
Also, is it possible to "combine" any bypass caps (for example use one bypass cap per two supply voltage pins)? This would make the part placement easier. I know that hardware design guidelines document states that every power pin should have it's own bypass capacitors, but on the other hand the same document recommends to use different values for bypass capacitors to reduce EMI; actually, using different values in bypass capacitors could make EMI even more worse because of the cross resonances.
Thank you,
Alan
