Is uart4 in m3 connected can be connected to a DMA channel.

Hi Arye,

Nope that's not possible. Check section 18.3.1 Channel Assignments

for more details.

Why in SPRS742H Table 3-12 it says that uart4 has access to udma ?
what is right?

Sorry for misunderstanding! All UART modules have access to uDMA and not C DMA.

Thank you for the prompt response. I still have a question. In spruh22g Table 18-1 there is a description of udma Channel assignment.

UART4 is not mentioned . How do I know to what channel to assign it?

Hi Arye,

I see the issue. There is typo in Table 18-1 in TRM. In table we have following assignments.

Here UART3 is mention two times (16/17 & 18/19) which is not correct. uDMA channel 18/19 is for UART4. I'll provide this feedback to team to make appropriate correction in TRM.
