I have a  customer who is trying to get the TMDSHVRESLLCKIT to debug and write flash memory. At first, the debugger would not connect. The DEMO and GUI ran fine. I added J6 and got the debugger to connect. The first attempt failed after erasing the flash. The second attempt failed while trying to erase. I can't figure out if the control card is bad or if something else is wrong with the configuration as the manual doesn't actually say how to set this kit up for debug. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi David,

    If you've got the debugger to connect to the MCU via CCS, then there should be nothing in the way to stop them from being able to flash the MCU (especially on a development board).

    1) Can you describe what the was going on and what error message the customer saw when the first attempt at flashing failed?
    2) Is the customer able to run a CCS project from RAM successfully?  Ideally the project they'd run to test this would be something innocuous; something like the following example:
    \controlSUITE\device_support\f2802x\v222\f2802x_examples_structs\cpu_timer\

    1. First we saw Timeout errors, then flash program failed.
    2. Did not try this.

    Latest..

    I loaded a very simple Flashing LED program to the HVLLC board. It loads fine and flashes the LED. But problems remain with downloading the HVLLC code.

    While that was not enough, found out the other DevKit called Solar Micro inverter do not work either. While the software can be downloaded to it, after issuing a GO command does not work as it is intended.

     

    The only time that the Solar Micro inverter works is when the GUI accompanying the Kit is used to download a specific program or it will not work.

    For the solar kit:

    Can you give specifics on " when Go Command is issued" it does not work? Which incremental build level is being used? what is connected to the output etc?
