Hi, I'm using eZdsp F28335. Can I supply a GPS device through the eZdsp? On eZdsp F28335 Technical Reference, page 2-21, it says that if I short pins 1 and 2 of JR4 or JR5, +5V will be available through expansion connectors. The GPS supply range is 3.8 ~6.5 VDC and it requires 75 mA. The GPS output is 3.3V. May I use any kind of extra protection or is it enough to connect the VCC, GND and the GPS output to the DSP?
